Electronics is an indispensable part of our lives and controls almost everything from children’s toys, household and office equipment to telephones and cars, which we take for granted every day.
Mitsubishi Electric offers a wide range of products and solutions for industrial applications and everyday areas. We have set ourselves the goal of not losing sight of the most important things in all technical progress: The people and the world in which we live.
As we progress toward our 100th anniversary in 2021, our company-wide focus is clear — applying our technologies to contribute to society and enhance quality of life around the globe. We are working to create a brighter future through innovation, and to ensure a more sustainable world.
The customers we serve and the challenges we meet are global, and so is Mitsubishi Electric. Seamlessly supporting our research, manufacturing, and marketing activities around the world is a global network of R&D centers, branches, and affiliates.
Since 1978, Mitsubishi Electric is represented in Germany as a branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe. Mitsubishi Electric Europe is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation in Tokyo.
Today, Mitsubishi Electric has a total of 14 locations in Germany where we do our best every day to enrich people’s lives at work, at home and on the move with our products and services.
The investment and the move to a new, ultra-modern office building in 2015 symbolize the Japanese parent company’s deep attachment to Germany as a business location, as the German branch is one of the most important locations outside Japan. Mitsubishi Electric regularly demonstrates this clear commitment to its location with social and cultural commitment.
In addition to the German Branch at Mitsubishi Electric-Platz in Ratingen, there are 16 other sales companies, 12 production facilities and two research and development centers in Europe.
